I had a phillips 55 inch that was donated to me by someone who was having problems with it. Most likely due to the fact that she left it on 24/7 for a few years. It worked fine for a while for me but eventually just did not start.
A quick google search showed me that I needed to check the fuse first and then replace the power supply if it did not work. After I bought a cheap fuse and it didn't fix the problem, I stumbled upon TVpartsguy and ordered this part.
It worked great! easy installation, the hardest part was unscrewing/screwing in the 40 or so screws. As soon as I put this part on, I hooked up the three wire clips and plugged it in and it worked like new.
This easily saved me hundreds on a professional repair and probably a thousand if I bought a new TV.
